If you're in Washington catch Triangle (Sost Maezen) a film written and directed by Theodros Teshome which (released in Ethiopia in 2012) is being showcased this April.
Triangle tells the story of Ethiopians and Eritreans on an illegal journey from East Africa through Libya, Italy, Mexico and finally to the United States. It follows Kaleab and Jemal andEritrean and Ethiopian who endure danger to reach America for the promise of a better life.
The film stars Solomon Bogale, Mahider Assefa, Selam Tesfaye, Muluken Teshome, Theodros Teshome, Samson Tadesse, Abebe Balcha
Two Screenings will be taking place in Washington DC at 5pm and 7pm on the 5th and 12th April.
