Nhamo, a dashing young goatherd, stumbles upon a mysterious Narrator who has just hours to complete his masterpiece: the ultimate African tv drama. All that’s missing is a hero and Nhamo fits the bill – if he can defeat his arch nemesis, woo the girl of his dreams, appeal to audiences the world over and learn his lines by midnight.
A production by Tiata Fahodzi meaning ‘theatre of the emancipated’, a theatre company which produces African British theatre shows. The Epic Adventure of Nhamo the Manyika Warrior and His Sexy Wife Chipo is written by Denton Chikura and directed by Lucian Msamati
The 2014 tour dates runs from May - June and includes; 29 - 31 May (Watford), 3 - 4 June (Oxford), 6 -13 June (Peckham London), and 18 - 21 June (Birmingham)
Show time 19:00 every evening except the 8th June, including a 15:00 matinee on Saturday 11th June.
