The African Market Bank Holiday Festival special is jam packed with lots to do, see and buy.
Programme includes: FASHION CATWALK + ZIMBABWEAN MBIRA AFRO-FUNK LIVE MUSIC + WEST-AFRICAN DRUMMING & DANCING WORKSHOP + STORYTELLING + KIDS & FAMILY ART WORKSHOP.
Plus MANY STALLS: Ethical fashion, natural beauty products, kids clothing, arts & crafts, arts, books, charities, all from the African continent, from Morocco to South Africa passing by Ghana, Niger, Kenya and more!
And a variety of FOOD stalls from Nigerian, Ethiopian, Caribbean and raw organic Afro-European fusion dishes. Don't miss African-inspired mosaic with talented artist Dionne Ible, and you can also immerse yourself in a storytelling workshop with the energetic performer Cowfoot Prince Usifu Jalloh, or take part in a face painting and glitter tattoo workshop with the talented artist Kemi.
For a taste of the latest African trends, visit the two exclusive catwalks that will be showcasing the leading fashion, homeware designs, jewellery & accessories and kids fashion by the talented designers of the African Market. The catwalks will also feature looks by award-winning body artist Christelle Kedi, hair styling by Joy Phido (World of Braiding), makeup by Bibish Mbemba (Lady B.) and a head wrapping demonstration by Sista E. of the Calabash Hub.
