Miss Black Africa UK 2014 Grand Finale - 04.10.14

This year, the Miss Black Africa Pageant and Charity awards will welcome attendees from 20 participating African countries. 30 beautiful hopefuls will compete in 3 rounds to be Miss Black Africa UK 2014 and the ambassador of the Queens4Africa charity organisation.

Also on the night, the organisation will present 14 exemplary individuals and/or organisations with its prestigious Charity Awards. Categories are Young Fundraiser of the Year Award, Fundraiser of the Year Award, Golden Heart Award , Diamond Heart Award, Charity of The Year Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and 8 Special Recognition Awards.

This promises to be a great night of top notch entertainment, beauty Fashion, music, comedy and a brilliant opportunity to network with the hundreds of professionals from various fields that  will be attending the event.

Red Carpet: 7PM   Showtime: 8PM   Dress Code: Black Tie or African attire

 

HISTORY AND MISSION

The Miss Black Africa UK pageant was founded in 2011 with the sole purpose of giving young African girls born or living in the United Kingdom a strong platform to pursue and actualise their dreams. The winner becomes a goodwill ambassador for Miss Black Africa, charged with designing and implementing a charity program based on her Pageant Platform.

CHARITY – PARTNER WITH US AS YOU SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE
The pageant makes it mandatory that every queen completes a charity project which is financed through charity fundraising. The Queens4Africa foundation is the charity arm of the Miss Black Africa organisation with the reigning queen as ambassador.

In March 2014, the Miss Black Africa team led by reigning Queen Sonia Ike, refurbished a children's library at Central School Okohia in Nigeria. Below is the before and after photo of the project.

 

 

In 2013, the reigning Queen, Samaia Tchapesseka(Miss Black Africa 2012) carried out her mission in Angola and in 2012, Queen Ruvimbo Chinzou(Miss Black Africa 2011) embarked on a mission to Zimbabwe.

AFTER THE END OF THE EARLYBIRD PERIOD (4 SEPTEMBER 2014),  VIP SEATS WILL COST £50, VIP TABLE :£400, STANDARD SEATING:£35, STANDARD TABLE :£400 AND THEATRE SEATS: £25 IF AVAILABLE.
