Fairfield House Ethiopian Day - 29.08.15

Fairfield House is an Italian style villa in Newbridge Bath. The residential home of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie 1 during his exile from Ethiopia from 1936 - 1941. In 1958, the Emperor left the Fairfield House to the City of Bath for use by senior citizens.

The friends of Fairfield House (Bath residents, Rastafari and Ethiopian communities) are currently developing the house for the benefits of the community.

The day is aimed at raising funds for the restoration of Fairfield House, all proceeds and donation will go towards the renovation and preserving of Fairfield House.

There will be Ethiopian food sold on the day including exhibitions, traditional stalls, photographer, face painting music, raffle and tombola and much more.
