The Ethio - French Alliance cordially invites you to the opening of an art exhibition by Berhanu Getachew on Monday 2nd June at 18.30. Ethiopian artist Getachew Berhanu has Followed in the footsteps of His Father, Internationally renowned artist, the late Berhanu Yemenu . Berhanu G. started doing traditional painting in 1989 before carving a path that very few contemporary artists Took, at the crossroads of narrative figuration, naive art and social criticism. Berhanu Getachew has preference for historical, ethnographic and religious themes .
This prolific painter's next exhibition will be held in Madrid.
