Asni The Movie Documentary be holding two screenings at the Washington DC Jewish Community Center from 3pm and 5pm
ASNI captures the life of one of Ethiopia's great female cultural icon, actress and krar playing Asnaketch Worku. The launch event and screening of this documentary takes please at the National Theater, where many Ethiopians would have gone to see Asnaketch Worku perform. The documentary looks through conversation with Asnaketch Worku herself before she passed and other great Ethiopian artists who would have know her.
