Alliance Ethio-Française: Faso-Paris Concert - 13.06.14

The Alliance Ethio-Française cordially invites you to the concert “Faso-Paris”. Faso Paris, is a musical performance that showcases the vitality and modernity of African music combined with the great classics of French music. The balafon, the kora,and the Madingo flute interact with the accordion and guitar on some French classics; songs in bwamou echo Brassens and Piaf’s lyrics to the rhythm of calabash and djembe.
The band is composed of three Burkinabe traditional musicians, and a French professional residing in Burkina Faso since 2007, who also plays the balafon.
