Africa Together! An annual event in Cambridge to commemorate Africa Day.

On 5th of June 2015 we’ve got an incredible list of speakers and panelists lined up as well as the opportunity to network with potential employers, try delicious African food, music and much more. Join us at the Cambridge University Union, one of the most iconic buildings in the city dating back to 1815

To commemorate Africa day, African Society of Cambridge University (ASCU) in partnership with various Africa-focused student societies across the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University has organized a daylong event to show case, educate and celebrate the African continent and its people. The day will include showcasing African music, fashion and arts, talks from a number of prominent African luminaries, as well as topical panel discussions on issues impacting the African continent. There will be Africa food stalls serving diverse food from across the contient as well as a networking drinks event after the event. There will also be an after part for those looking to dance well into the night. This is an opportunity not to be missed! For more information about the programme.
