The I'mPOSSIBLE Conversation Youth Edition - 04.09.14

Posted: Apr, 7th 2015

The second, I’mPOSSIBLE conversation Youth Edition to take place on September 4 at the House of Commons.

In partnership with Diane Abbott MPs ‘Black Women Mean Business’ and supported by Ernst And Young Black Employee Network and ImP convo alumni; Margaret Casely-Hayford. We're enabling young girls to see their success and be inspired by girls who look like them and share their background.  This is powerful work which changes young, impressionable lives positively.

We have a stellar line up of young ladies who have defined success on their own terms:

  • Hannah Balogun is a 25 year business owner who runs two hair salons across East and South London
  • Patricia Bright is a wildly famous YouTube vlogger with over 400k followers who get to see a slice of her life each week
  • Anne-Marie Imafidon is a British computing, mathematics and language child prodigy who is still the youngest person to have gained a Masters at the age of 19 from Oxford University
  • Shavani Seth - who's better known as 'Davina' from E4s 'Youngers' show and is about to star in award-winning US drama, 'Homeland'
  • Lisa Bent (host) - is a qualified counsellor, TV and Radio Presenter, Blogger and founder of Self-Central.

WE NEED POSSIBLE girls and young ladies to attend!

Girls who are from secondary school age upwards are invited to come along and experience being inspired by seeing others like them and hearing their journeys.

Bringing girls into the heart of the UK power structure is no mean feat. It's Her-Story!  Make sure our girls are a part of it.
