Mulatu Astatke At Turning Tides Festival

Turning Tides festival is free music, arts and wellness festival for London. It celebrates the opening of London’s first linear park – designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro the co-designers of Manhattan’s High Line. 

Expect music curated by Village Underground – hosts of one of the most exciting nightlife scenes in East London – yoga by the riverfront, and an appearance by Sunday Assembly, a secular congregation that welcomes all and celebrates life through singing and inspiring talks, followed by tea and cake.

Choose your own moments of change. Lose yourself in music by the likes of Gaz Coombes, Nadine Shah, Laura Mvula and Kwabs, discover the present through meditation – all along London’s first riverside linear park at Greenwich Peninsula.

SUN 14 JUL The River Knows – a celebration of the metaphorical powers of the Thames and rivers everywhere. Featuring Dave Okumu, Laura Mvula, Nadine Shah, Kwabs, Beth Norton, Sam Amidon, Gruff Rhys, Rosie Lowe and more.

The event is free and you don't need tickets to come along.
