Marcus Samuelsson Opening Bermuda Restaurant in 2015

The Bermuda Sun has confirmed that internationally acclaimed celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson is to create the Fairmont Hamilton Princess’s new signature restaurant overlooking the harbour.

The Ethiopian-born, Swedish-raised chef Marcus Samuelsson will open a "signature" restaurant at the Hotel in May 2015. However in preparation of the new venture and to kick everything off, Marcus Samuelsson will open a preview pop-up restaurant for two months this summer from June 3 to August 3 2014.

On the new venture Chef Marcus Samuelsson says; “I’m excited to create new flavours inspired by the rich, vibrant culture and history of Bermuda. From fresh-caught, local fish to an array of Caribbean and Portuguese ingredients and traditions, there is such a wealth of inspiration to bring to the table.”

I think I just found another reason to head out to Bermuda!
