CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: TIBEB BE ADEBABAY 2019

The Goethe-Institut Ethiopia and its partners are currently preparing for the 3rd  Tibeb event. The event will bring arts to public places in Addis Abeba to celebrate the culture of the people and country.

For one week, from 2nd – 10th of May 2019, artists from all kinds of different backgrounds will move around the city, perform in the streets and showcase their works to the public, engaging the passersby of the city in their creative activities.

Do you want to be part of it?

If you want to participate and be one of the artists performing in the open for one week, you can apply with your concept until January 31st.

Creatives from all disciplines should apply. In the last two years, the program has included creatives from the fields of architecture, film, photography, literature, music, painting, circus, gamification and education. Goethe-Institut also invites dancers, actors, designers, installation artists, magicians, poets, handicraft artists and others to apply and become part of the Tibeb be Adebabay network.

The Goethe-Institut has successfully organized this culture festival twice. It provides the legal framework, the coordination, logistics and public relations for the project. Besides, we pay an honorarium including your expenses for the program.
