Ethiopian Oral History Project Exhibition - 27-28.06.14
The Ethiopian Community in Britain (ECB) have been involved with a number of oral history recording projects focusing on the general life experience and status of Ethiopian refugees in the UK.
Their latest project has been on "The Power of Older Refugees" which has concentrated on recording the life of Ethiopian older people in the UK and in Ethiopia, documenting their life achievements , their participation in the making of their country's history, the roles they played as elders, on customs, traditions and historical heritages of their country, and on relations that may have existed between their country and Great Britain.
Now the project has been completed the ECB have organised an exhibition at the ECB Centre (nearest tube - Finchley Road, Nearest rail - Finchley and Frognal)
The Exhibition is free and is open to the public from 15:00 to 18:00pm every day until Saturday 28 June.
