Eritrea Comes To The Tour De France

Team MTN-Qhubeka, have become the first ever African team in the Tour de France.

Team MTN-Qhubeka is based in South Africa, the team currently is the first African team to take part in the Tour de France. It also includes three Eritreans of which two are the first Eritreans to take part in the Tour De France 2015 race. The two Eritrean's  Daniel Teklehaimanot, the best climber on this year’s Critérium du Dauphiné, as well as Merhawi Kudus, who completed the Vuelta at the age of 20 years, have made history.

The two Eritrean's  Daniel Teklehaimanot the best climber in this year’s Critérium du Dauphiné, as well as  Merhawi Kudus, who completed the Vuelta at the age of 20 years (one of the youngest riders), have made history in this years Tour De France.
